Parts planners are expected to develop forecasts for parts in order to support efficient repair operations while minimizing inventory. Provide analytics supported by reports of service functions for management and business units on both pre and post-sales activities in order to contribute to the company''s sales performance and customer satisfaction. Analysts are expected to take ownership of the data reports they provide regarding accuracy and relevance, and to assist management with its interpretation.1) Purchasinga Review MRP in SAP to purchase parts for backordersb Collaborate with field engineering to place PO''s needed to support repairs and backordersc Process internal part requests for Rebuild and Serviced Work with factory and vendors to expedite high priority orders/backorderse Review open orders and update delivery dates accordinglyf Learn how to find various parts that customers may need2) Item Mastera. Material/BOM Registration / Changesb. Work with the factory on pricing, research inquiriesc. Work with internal customers to reflect processes accordingly in SAP that involves materials.d. Maintain material master data accuracy (checks and balances)3) Skills: Work independently with limited daily supervision Have a strong analytical ability to perform root cause analysis and trend analysis across multiple product lines and businesses Communicate effectively using professional skills, clear writing skills, and good business judgment Ability to work with personnel at all management levels both inside and outside of the company Ability to provide written and oral presentations plus detailed reports as required by management Strong PC skills and software skills required. Competency in MS Word, MS Excel ((at least to the level of knowing VLOOKUP, know how to convert between data types, comfortable manipulating large amount of data) and MS PowerPoint required.Experience: SAP and Excel Knowledge (some SAP knowledge will be helpful)Education/Certification: Associates degree/Certificate in SCM or Accounting/Procurement or a very experienced High School graduate #CBRose#Rose International is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
