New opportunity based in the Central Territory for a highly motivated NMR/ MRI Applications Service Engineer to join the Bruker BioSpin Service and Lifecycle Support Team providing customer assistance throughout the Americas Region.

  • Install NMR and/ or MRI systems and/ or accessories at customer's facility and test to ensure full functionality according to specifications

  • Partner with Service and Applications Teams to perform installations, provide training support, address and resolve concerns

  • Review performance reports and documentation from customers and field representatives.

  • Inspect and troubleshoot malfunctioning or damaged product to determine nature and scope of problem and perform repairs.

  • Coordinate problem resolution with other departments including 2nd level BBIO Service Support, Sales and Applications to expedite repairs.

  • Perform other duties as required.

  • Requires Ph.D., M.S., or B.S. level chemist, biochemist or physicist with NMR and/ or MRI and Life Sciences Imaging product equipment experience

  • The degree should be supported by a reasonable amount of laboratory experience.

  • Demonstrated applications, service, and support experience with NMR and/or MRI technology, equipment, and a wide variety of experiments.

  • Places high priority focus on providing excellent customer care, training, service, and support.

  • Proven aptitude with troubleshooting hardware problems.

  • Ability to satisfactorily perform field service rover rotation program to provide customer support.

  • Ability to satisfactorily complete position training requirements.

  • Superior verbal, written, interpersonal and communications skills with strong computer competencies.

  • Valid Drivers’ License in good standing, issued by resident state required.

  • Ability to maintain a valid passport with flexibility for frequent domestic and international travel.
