The service technician will troubleshoot, service, and repair video gaming equipment at customer establishments throughout the service area. The service technician responds to service calls, resolves customer issues, and supports leadership in maintaining strong customer service within the region. The successful candidate must be 21 years or older, have a valid driver's license and good driving record, strong leadership skills, and pass a detailed background check with the Illinois Gaming Board and the Illinois Department of Professional Regulations.Job ResponsibilitiesRespond to service calls for equipment repairs in an efficient manner by prioritizing calls according to urgency and current locationIdentify and prepare all equipment in collaboration with Compliance and Service teams under the direction of the Technical Services DirectorIdentify and troubleshoot all malfunctions in order to perform necessary repairs of electronic gaming devices and equipmentInstall, inspect, and test electronic gaming devices, hardware, equipment, and associated systems as required for efficient, continuous business operationsInteract with clerks, management, and customers to resolve issues as they ariseComplete all necessary documentation for device entry and logsEnsure quality and integrity of all incoming and outgoing equipmentIdentify and communicate inventory needs for equipment to ensure minimal downtime and rapid turnaround of productFollow all department, company, and state policies and proceduresWork a schedule that aligns to service and business needs (this includes early morning, evening, overnight shifts and weekends at times)
