JPMorgan Chase Java Software Engineer with experience in C# in Chicago, Illinois

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience

  • Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines

  • Understanding of architecture and design across all systems

  • Working proficiency in developmental toolsets

  • Knowledge of industry wide technology trends and best practices

  • Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals, and passionate about building an innovative culture

  • Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages

  • Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance and software improvement

  • Follows guidelines to ensure consistency, quality and completeness of features and enhancements and support production issues.

  • Strong development discipline, following best practices and standards.

  • Familiarity with code management tools (e.g., git).

  • Experience in implementing distributed, complex solutions using Java and C#.

  • Adept at writing test cases and scripts, presenting and resolving issues (e.g., JUnit, Fitnesse).

  • Familiarity with relational database environment (e.g., SQL).

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Able to work independently and in a large, collaborative team to achieve organizational goals in an agile team environment.

  • Strong interpersonal skills necessary to work effectively and coordinate with colleagues.

  • Must have seven years of continuous residency within the United States
