The Department/Team:

The Trading Technology Department consists of 23 technologists across development, quality assurance and DevOps teams. We are a full stack team providing all technology required by FRM’s global trading operations. These trading operations include the portfolio management, trading, and trade operations teams. Our systems include financial mathematics to calculate risk, order management and routing systems to send orders, market data, reporting, and trade reconciliation for a wide variety of financial instruments traded around the world.

Your Role/What You’ll Do:

The Intern Software Tester will work with the software testing team in the verification of trading and risk systems which are used on a global basis. In this role, you will learn about our trading system and the proprietary software which enables it. You will create and execute test cases, and document and retest any problems found through the testing process. The ability to work and communicate clearly with other technical and non-technical team members including traders is a must.
