Position Overview

Responsibilities:
Responsible for the analysis, design, coding, unit testing, and documentation of enterprise application integrations while adhering to departmental standards
Translate Agile stories and acceptance criteria into a technical design, then code and test logic
Assemble ad hoc queries for data extraction, transformation, and load purposes in the integration layer
Prepare integration documentation for the purpose of transitioning items to the Application Operations team
Learn and master new technologies including cyber security and encryption technologies to meet the needs of assignments and comply with Cyber Security team’s requirements for the integration layer
Partner with Integration Architect to research new technologies and deliver POCs
Understand the customizations to our software system and be able to speak to them, both technically and functionally, to all levels of the organization
Understand test driven development and software quality requirements
Perform automated unit testing of integration packages
Contribute to and ensure effective design of all major modifications
Troubleshoot issues using various debug methods

Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology related field
At least 4 years of programming experience (including college and/or programming courses)
Practical knowledge of SOAP or REST API programming & JSON
At least 2+ years of experience with database design and development including complex SQL queries, creation of views, stored procedures, functions, and triggers in MS SQL Server environment
Practical knowledge of Microsoft SSIS
Practical knowledge of Microsoft SSDT control flow, data flow, event-driven logic, and logging
Practical knowledge of job scheduling tools (e.g., SQL Agent)
Problem solving and analytical thinking
Ability to work/execute on multiple projects and prioritize accordingly
Experience using source control software tools (e.g. Git, Bitbucket, VSTS, CVS, etc.)
Nice to Have:
Proficient (hands on experience) in Microsoft SSIS and SSDT
Knowledge in .NET Framework and C#.NET scripting in SSIS
Experience with 3 rd party SSIS components for data integrations (e.g., CozyRoc, DBAMP)
Hands on experience with MuleSoft or other major integration platforms in the market (e.g., Talend, Jitterbit, TIBCO, WebMethods, Dell Boomi, Informatica, BizTalk)
Experience using Postman
Hands on experience using Bitbucket
Prior experience in Agile/Scrum process
