Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese Food Supply Coordinator in Chicago, Illinois
Essential Functions of the position are detailed below, and include any physical requirements below that.1. Responsible for coordinating the daily distribution of food products received from the Greater Chicago Food Depository to assigned sites;2. Complies with safety and sanitation guidelines according to local, state, and federal guidelines;3. Responsibly and safely drives the Agency vehicle and follows all traffic and safety laws and regulations, as well as Agency policies and procedures and reports any problems, concerns, malfunctions, and/or accidents in a timely manner;4. Serves as the liaison between drivers and other agency sites within the service area;5. Completes all required documentation and maintains accurate and up-to-date departmental documentation, files and databases, as required by agency/programmatic policies and procedures, professional standards, and external requirements of all relevant regulatory, licensing or accrediting bodies in the course of performing job expectations6. Serves as the primary contact for any food delivery inquiries for assigned sites;7. Works collaboratively, cooperatively and professionally with other staff, departments, and/or community partner agencies;8. Knows and complies with the laws and regulations relevant to the position and services;9. Must be willing to travel between sites to fill in for staff, including food pantry staff, as needed;10. Completes special projects, as assigned.

Certification/Licensure:Preferred: Must acquire Manager Food Sanitation Certificate within 6 months from date of hire.Minimum: Must have a valid Manager Food Sanitation Certificate
