Griffith is seeking a Desktop Technician to join their growing team at their corporate headquarters in Alsip, IL. The position will report to the Manager of User Services. The User Services team provides hardware and application support to approx. 500 Griffith users between the locations in the US and Canada. The team is split amongst those two locations. As a member of the User Services team, the Technician will provide excellent customer service and technical support to a wide variety of business users, from C-Level executives to shipping and receiving or plant employees on-site in Alsip.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities: - Provide desktop, laptop, application and mobile support to Griffith users - Handle Level 1 and Level 2 troubleshooting tickets and support - As a team, respond to approx. 15 calls/20 emails/5 walk-ups on a daily basis - When not assisting users, technicians are responsible for other User Services functions, including: - Active Directory clean-up/updates (adds/removals/changes) - Application installation/support - Desktop configuration (SCCM) - Other break-fix related tasks

Required Skills: - Strong experience across the Microsoft end-user compute spectrum, including - Windows 10 - Office 2016 - Office 365 - Active Directory - SCCM - Hardware troubleshooting (laptop/desktop) - Experience with ServiceNow or related ticketing system - Remote/Virtual desktop troubleshooting

Preferred Skills: - Mobile support (iPhone/iOS preferred)
