Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience in SaaS, IaaS and PaaS sales and/or consulting.
5 years of experience with Application Modernization applications and positioning.
12 years of experience selling to enterprise customers.
Knowledge of the Application Modernization technology stack and deployment options in the cloud.
Ability to build relationships and work in a cross-functional/matrixed environment.
Excellent communication, presentation, and strategic and analytical thinking skills, with the ability to plan, pitch, and execute a complete sales strategy.

As an Application Modernization Solution Specialist, you will work our direct enterprise sales organization, and partner closely with customers to help them shape their cloud strategy and enable their digital transformation. You will advocate for the innovative power of our products to make organizations more productive, collaborative, and mobile.

Manage accountability for Application Modernization workloads on Google Cloud within the assigned region and/or vertical.
Generate a plan to ensure broad engagement with accounts, and develop strategies to cultivate sales in a fast-paced environment. Lead the rollout of offerings in region and ensure collaboration and engagement with sales teams.
Work with wider Google Account teams and Application Modernization counterparts to drive demand, and provide guidance to Marketing/Partners to develop campaigns. Build a pipeline of customers within assigned region and/or verticals.
Gather, manage and direct a team during the sales process. Be an advocate for Application Modernization within the Google Cloud region/vertical.
Build and maintain relationships with customers, influencing long-term strategic direction and acting as a trusted advisor.
