Aerotek Punch Press Set Up in Carpentersville, Illinois

Description:

Punch Press set up employee will be setting up punch press and operating minster and Bliss press machinery. This person will be responsible for changing out dies and setting up dies, making adjustments to machine while in operation, perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot issues and perform in process inspection on material. Set up Tech will need to be able to read and interpret blueprints, utilize micrometers, calipers, and other inspection tools. Press range from from 100-300 tons.

Perform multiple set ups and be familiar different size dies.

Experience making adjustments during production.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues without stopping the flow of production.

Operate a sit down forklift because they will be doing their own material handling.
