This job was posted by https://illinoisjoblink.illinois.gov : For more information, please see: https://illinoisjoblink.illinois.gov/ada/r/jobs/7511212 IEH Laboratories, a Leader in Food Safety, is now accepting applications for the Laboratory Analyst and Laboratory Support Position at its facility in Carol Stream, IL.Applicants must possess a BS or BA in the biological sciences or a related field.Ideal candidates should possess the following skills:- Strong attention to detail- Proficiency with data entry and computer applications- Multitasking capability- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment- Strong written and verbal communication skills- Be self-motivated- Strong understanding of aseptic technique in the laboratory- Safely transporting samples from customers to the lab on a fixed schedule- Valid Driver's License required- Must have a clean driving recordThe Laboratory Analyst duties include: analysis of food samples for pathogens via PCR and immunoassay, various microbe enumerations, data entry, laboratory reporting, quality control, and media preparation. This is a full-time position, in which the employee will be eligible for standard benefits after a brief waiting period.
