Grunt Style Customer Service Representative in Carol Stream, Illinois
Customer Service Representative supports customers by providing helpful information, answering questions, and responding to complaints. They're the front line of support for customers and they help ensure that customers are satisfied with products and services. You will also be asked to process orders, modifications, and escalate complaints across a number of communication channels. To do well in this role you need to be able to remain calm when customers are frustrated and have experience working with computers.

Attracts potential customers by answering product and service questions; suggesting information about other products and services.
Answer Emails, Live Chats, Phone calls and work face to face with customers.
Maintains customer records by updating account information.
Resolves product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution.
Required Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED.
Minimum of 1 years’ experience in Customer Service/Call Centers
Good organizational skills.
Must be competent using Google -based tools.
Be able to navigate through multiple programs
Good communication skills.
High level of self-motivation, independence and self-reliance.
Results Driven – work to remove obstacles to achieve business results and establish
aggressive personal goals.
Charts, forms, inventories.
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printer/copiers. Required to work in a large room alongside other employees, so the work area can be noisy. In addition, the work can sometimes be stressful when interacting with dissatisfied customers.
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Long periods of sitting and working on a computer or talking on the phone. Extensive use of a computer for typing and record keeping. Ability to stand and move to communicate with other departments as necessary. Occasionally lift up to 35 lbs.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days/hours of work are partially open for discussion based on business needs. Will be expected to work at least one day on the weekend.
No travel is expected for this position.
