CVS Health Java Development XP Agile, Sr. Advisor in Buffalo Grove, Illinois
As a XP Sr. Engineer with CVS Health, you will participate on an Extreme Programming Product Team of 6-10 people and work with the XP team to build high quality, usable Products to customers / stakeholders in our new Scottsdale AZ or Buffalo Grove IL innovation labs. You will help educate both business and technology personnel on the XP process and how the traditional XP TDD changes as well as lead products from discovery and framework-through iterative development and delivery while maintaining a user-centered approach in design perspective and practice.
A firm understanding of Java development principles and agile methodologies is crucial for success in the role. The position is located in the Scottsdale AZ or Buffalo Grove IL offices, and candidates must be able to be in the office to work with product teams.
As the XP Engineer, you will:
• Design efficient and user-friendly software products to advance and support business needs
•In this role, you will design and innovate technologies or cloud solutions for effective resource allocation, fast application deployment and zero downtime upgrade while you deliver rapidly iterative new design or new architecture POC as well as platform production releases.
•To be successful in this role, it is important that you have a deep knowledge of various cloud infrastructure hardware and software such as Openstack, AWS, GCP and Azure, as well as the underlying architecture for hyper-converged technologies and Pivotal Cloud Foundry.

*Minimum of 3 years of experience working with enterprise solution delivery in a large scale distributed software design environment, preferably in an XP programming environment
*Minimum of 2 years of Java development experience while utilizing one or more these technologies:
-Experience in one or more of the following
development languages: SpringBoot, Go, NodeJS,
-Experience in one or more of the following front-end
frameworks: React, Angular, Vue.js
*Minimum of 1 years of experience working in an Agile based development environment, using Agile concepts such as Continuous Integration, TDD
*Minimum of 1 year of experience with front end development (AngularJS, Angular2, or Angular4 preferred)
*Minimum of 3 months with emerging cloud platform technologies such as: CloudFoundry, Openshift , AWS Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google App Engine, Heroku , or other PaaS technologies
-Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor's Degree - Computer Science, Information Systems or similar, or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.
