A Tech Support Intern will work with Senior Technical Support staff to help in setting up user accounts, basic diagnoses of operating system and application problems, testing and maintaining backup systems, and installing and setting up computer systems. You will also work to identify and correct basic problems with workstation applications as well as desktop and server operating systems.

As a participant of an internship program, an intern performs various duties and responsibilities as assigned for a function that has relevance to the academic major and future occupational interest of the student. The internship is to provide the student with a hands-on, real-world experience in which they can integrate and apply their knowledge and skills from the classroom and gain additional knowledge and experience. The duties and responsibilities performed will involve the exposure to and application of professional knowledge and judgment.

  • Internship opportunities are currently available for Fall 2016 semesters at 15-20 hours/week depending on workload. Fall internships will begin August 29 and end December 9.
