MACHINE OPERATOR

Randstad has partnered with a local manufacturing company in search of entry level machine operators for an immediate opening for 2nd shift. This is a full time, temp-to-hire position in Bloomington, IL. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday 4:40 pm - 3 am and pay is $13/hr; some Saturdays may be required. Fantastic company benefits are offered once hired on.

Responsibilities

• changing tooling in all machines - performing all off sets associated with and without tool changes - complete production paperwork - complete quality paperwork - perform quality inspections - responsible for keeping operating fluids at their appropriate levels - communicate with and assist shift leader in troubleshooting and performing maintenance on machine nonconformities - communicate with and assist shift leader in troubleshooting and performing part nonconformity sorts - prepare and package finished goods - maintain a system of cleanliness (5s) - adheres to policies as outlined in the employee handbook

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment

• working in a non-temperature controlled environment

• standing for 12 hours at one time

• working up to 10 hrs of overtime per week

• working weekends
