This includes managing preventative maintenance, mechanical, electrical and robotic equipment break downs. Also Includes safety, people management and budgetary/cost reporting.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES 1.Directly manages facility technicians and outside contractors to oversee all repair and installation activities.2.Ensures all manufacturing equipment is in safe/good working order.3.Establish and maintain a positive, motivated staff and determine skills required for training.4.Manage labor, project budgets, and prepare capital expenditure proposals.5.Develop maintenance operating procedures and ensure implementation.6.Maintain and continually update for all facilities a preventative maintenance process and a comprehensive spare parts list/inventory.7.Maintain logs related to work requests and equipment breakdown.8.Conduct employee performance reviews. 9.Work with other departments to ensure coordination of required needs.10.Ensures compliance adherence to environmental, health and safety procedures.KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS 1.A high school diploma or equivalent. 4-year degree is a plus.2.5 years' experience in a plant maintenance role.3.Strong knowledge of electrical, hydraulics, compressors and manufacturing equipment.4.Must have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.5.Working knowledge of preventative maintenance software a plus FaciliWorks software a big plus6.Must be detail orientated, have strong organizational skills, and is a team player.7.Able to read and decipher blue prints.8.Good written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.9.Self-starter who takes initiative and requires little supervision.MTR's (Minimal Training Requirements)1.New Hire Orientation2.Benefits Orientation3.Quality Orientation4.Safety OrientationWORKING CONDITIONSWorking conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Work may involve lifting of materials and product up to 30+ pounds and 8-10 hours of standing. Working in this environment requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to; eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, work boots, and hardhats. Work may require travel. Work may require evening and weekend work.
