Production New Hire:
We currently have 3rd shift positions available for production workers at our Fox Valley Box manufacturing facility. This facility manufactures corrugated boxes for local and national customers.
We are looking for motivated individuals who are capable of performing a multitude of functions in a flexible, fast-paced production environment. Our workplace requires individuals who understand the needs of the business while maintaining a focus on safety, customer satisfaction, quality and productivity.
Specific responsibilities include counting and stacking finished product, reading factory orders, accurately reading tape measures, gauges and other test equipment, utilizing basic shop math, inspecting, accurately completing quality and administrative documents and following directions. You will also be assigned to clean up functions such as blowing down the machine, wiping off shafts, cleaning ink systems, vacuuming and sweeping the machine area, and picking up and shredding miscellaneous scrap.
Candidates must be willing to work 3 weekend days/month and overtime as required. Rate of pay is $18.48/hr. + shift differential.
Minimum qualifications for consideration are a high school degree (or equivalent experience.), and two years of work experience in a manufacturing environment with at least one year with the same employer. Highly-qualified candidates would possess manufacturing experience in the corrugated industry.
