DutiesProvide technical support for staff (e.g. replace mouse, keyboard, reset passwords, answer questions about and trouble shoot applications.) Lead technician for DataCap project, managing custom applications for document processing and data ingestion.Maintains printers, scanners & copiers. Replenish printer supplies.Move and set up printers, computers and phones as directed. Replace defective parts on computers and printers as directed.Install printer drivers. Rebuild computers to a defined specification.Move small furniture.Organize and maintain IT storage areas.Inspect computer and communication systems for basic health and compliance status. Uploads batch files, including but not limited to Hospital Face Sheets.Manage back-ups. Tests backups restores routinely. Manage backup tapes, including tape tracking. Monitor and manage EMC Avamar backups. Perform monthly test restorations from backups. Manage annual disaster recovery drill. Administration of Mitel phone system.Monitor and audit of phone calls and internet usage and traffic, and distribute reports on same.Assist in software upgrades. Addresses risks to network assets and data.Enforce AMB Electronic Access Policy and other company policies.Audit individual computers of staff, both in house and remote workersImplement and maintain Intrusion Detection System (IDS) and provide weekly reports. Set up automatic alerts of unusual or suspicious events.Coordinate routine reporting with the Compliance Officer.Operations DutiesPrepares electronic files for imports and exports as directed by IT Manager. This may include existing projects or new projects that are implemented.Assist in daily operations and perform a variety of office duties, including office services, office errands and other assigned responsibilities.Dispose of electronic equipment in a safe, secure and environmentally responsible manner.**Qualifications:** To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Communication skills and the ability to understand a wide range of perspectives is critical.Mathematical Skills: A solid understanding of mathematical concepts and a high degree of skill in data manipulation and multiple step logic is required. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Detail orientation and mental focus are necessary skills.Computer Skills: Must demonstrate a working knowledge with multiple operating systems and network protocols including DNS, DHCP, SMTP, FTP and Active Directory. Must be proficient in Office Suite applications including Microsoft and open source applications. Document control Management experience i.e. Datacap, Laserfiche, Kofax, Abbyy, etc.System backup solutions including Backup Exec, Windows backup and EMC Avamar.Work independently: Ability to work independently while maintain comprehensive communications with supervisors and staff, and have the ability to multi - task, be detail oriented, and have good organizational skills.Physical Demands: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
