Maintenance Mechanic

Randstad is currently seeking 2nd and 3rd shift Maintenance Mechanics for a well known food manufacturer in the Itasca area. Seeking candidates that have mechanical and electrical experience. Responsibilities

• Performing generalist mechanical duties for 5 lines, Allen Bradley systems

• Responsible for all aspects of industrial manufacturing maintenance of production lines

• Preventative maintenance, greaser/oiler, finding issues before they arise

• Read schematics, drawings, and manuals to establish facts and draw valid conclusions

• Install new electrical and mechanical equipment as directed. Perform building repairs and modifications when required

• Perform electrical repairs and troubleshoot for the following: PLC Controls, AC & DC motor controls, solid state motor controls, advance circuits and grounding, interpret diagrams and test equipment

• Working with ammonia refrigeration

• Perform other duties as required or assigned

The essential functions of this role include:

• manual lifting up to 50lbs

• standing for 10 hours at one time

• working up to 10 hrs of overtime per week

• working weekends
